Hello CEO's 

Having just experienced the July 2007 forum, I am busy at the office putting together the sequencing for the next big business adventure. I feel that I now have the tools to proceed with confidence and enthusiasm toward the ultimate goal of franchising my business. Thanks to Lynn and B.J. for their tireless efforts in creating this wonderful company committed to ethical business practices.

Gala Valet is my life for the next three years. I can't imagine that anyone at the forum didn't hear my SNAP but here goes for those of you who weren't there. "Gala Valet is a six year old company with a vision to change the face of valet parking here in Salt Lake City and throughout North America. My Gala Girls are intelligent, athletic, beautiful women who 'get the party started' before guests enter the door. We park cars, provide hostessing, carry packages, coat check and umbrella escorts. Our big smiles and confident enthusiasm bring style, class and great service to any special event. Our company focus is to franchise Gala Valet throughout North America. Our offering is with the lawyers and soon to be announced."  

 I am a native Utahn and a daughter of entrepreneurs. My father's family has been in the retail furniture business for over 50 years. My mothers family were in banking and the restaurant business. As a child of 11, I began my career as a banquet waitress and furniture duster. I graduated from cosmetology school in my Senior year of high school and have always had a side business in the hair/make-up/skin field. Eventually, I went on to college on a vocal music scholarship and performed in many college and civic plays, musicals and operas. I graduated with B.S. degress in Music, Political Science and Sociology. I married a man with three sons under five years old and had three more children over the next eight years. The big family got to be a bit much, so in the 70's, my husband became a stay-at-home dad and I supported the family first as an auditor for the I.R.S. and in 1976 I went into Real Estate eventually owning my own company and developing condos. In 1986, I decided to go it solo and have been single ever since. I have owned beauty salons over the years, a tax preparation business and am a lifelong Astropsychologist, helping people to know who they are and where their talents lie. In the early 90's, I went to work for a famous man by the name of Charles J. Givens and became a coach for his financial clients. I moved on to coach and develop coaching programs for Anthony Robbins, Dave Del Dotto and Mark O. Haroldsen. While still acting as a Broker for several real estate investment clients, I saw that I needed health insurance (couldn't locate an entrepreneurs policy) and became an employee for Qwest Communications. I was a Business Accounts Manager there for nine years and just took an early retirement in April 2007. Today, I am raising my seven year old granddaughter and building Gala Valet into a spectacular national franchise. This is more fun than I have ever had in business. In my spare time, I am writing, "Package Yourself For Success" which is a book and mentoring program using Metaphysics, Feng Shui, Astrology, Cosmetology a Fashion Stylist to help people in life trasitions become a more successful, knowing and confident person. I look forward to working with the fantastic people in CEO Space and helping make ALL of our dreams come true. If there is ever any help or advice I may give to any of you, feel free to ask.
