• consulting My skill set remains grounded in international and multicultural affairs. My dream is to see the UN become a level field with the internet providing the space for interacting and relating people to people, household to household, people to government, people to donor…
People should be driving socio-economic development thanks to the technology at hand,
• to influence infant mortality rates downwards;
• to increase the percentage of children learning (not necessarily attending a school) ,
• to increase the number people with access to basic services,
• to facilitate women and women headed households and provide them with the resources necessary to drive their own economic development… Cultural appreciation (language and languaging specifically) provides the oxygen for change – and knowing how to communicate provides the platform for building and sustaining relationships. Another skill set lies in language manifested in poetry and lyrics. For example, I wrote the lyrics for (and sang) Bombs, Bullets, Babies, during the height of the recent Israel-Lebanon conflict; wrote a “onethology” of poems oriented to seniors and those caring for people with dementia and memory problems, as well as dedicated to those taking care of the future generation.
I also developed a booklet – Organizing for Living and Checking out from Life, aimed specifically at people living alone or those who are conscious of their mortality but have not taken the steps necessary to organize their affairs. This should really be aimed at all living beings…These are published by EmGee. I am seeking to find support for the above. Muriel Glasgow
