 Note from this weeks guest, Julie Payne. I did a lot of research before choosing Healing Chambers Inc. and I am very pleased with the outcome of my decision. I finally experienced healing and happiness after 4 long dark years of battling Lyme disease. My battle began by being proactive in finding an answer to the many questions that were plaguing my body soul and mind. As you are aware, I did not get a diagnosis for two years after contracting lyme. Lyme disease is considered to be the great imitator and this was proven time and again by the myriad of symptoms and differential diagnosis I received. My life began to change when I received my lyme disease diagnosis in December 2004. At this point, my lyme literate doctor began an antibiotic protocol, including an IV picc-line that pumped directly into my heart. I suffered many bad side effects from these drugs, including having my liver enzymes tested every two weeks to make sure I was not experiencing irreversible damage to my liver. During the last 4 years, I’ve been to 5 different hospitals and released without a definitive diagnosis. In April of 2004, I collapsed in my home and was not able to walk and left the hospital in a wheelchair. Home healthcare came to my home three days a week and I battled back and learned to walk again without the aid of a walker or cane. I did not want to let this insidious disease get the best of me, my entire life! I wish my research had led me to hyperbaric oxygen therapy a lot sooner; I would have more time on this earth to make a difference. Thank you for providing both a natural way to rid your body of disease as well as a friendly, beneficial place where people can get their lives back. I am happy to report to you that I have been symptom free for three months and continue to feel happy, healthy and completely alive! It is a great feeling of freedom when you are finally released from the grip of lyme disease. I’m forever thankful to all of you for making my healing experience fun, easy and most of all, lasting! I will gladly answer whatever questions I can while on the show!! Kountz award for clinical excellence in surgery at graduation), and trained to be a general surgeon at State University of New York at Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn. Dr. Carley also worked as an attending Emergency Room physician at Kings County Medical Center in Brooklyn (which is the primary training affiliate for Downstate students), and is the largest hospital (and busiest trauma center) in the United States. Dr. Carley left the practice of General Surgery and “allopathic” medicine after realizing that no one was actually being healed of their diseases, and she started researching “alternative” medicine while taking time off to start a family. After Dr. Carley’s only child was brain damaged as a result of inoculations he received, Dr. Carley learned how to reverse the damage with homeopathy, and subsequently realized that inoculations of disease are causing the corruption in the immune system which leads to all autoimmune diseases and cancer. Just a few of the many disparaging things that are being said about American youth currently in the age bracket of 18-24. At least one contrarian employer consultant is adamantly arguing that it ain’t necessarily so. Millennial is the more appropriate demographic terminology for the generation born between 1982 and 2000. Often referred to as “Gen-Y”, it is both inappropriate and offensive (to them) to consider them a subset or somehow a reverberation of Gen-X. Although this demographic is physically similar to human beings of every previous generation, don’t mistake the generational differences as similar to those of many of their fore bearers as they are truly a breed apart. Millennials are both the beneficiaries and victims of an unprecedented technological acceleration spawned in the maelstrom of Boomer inventiveness and avarice. A myriad of other technological marvels such as CD’s, lightweight personal video cameras, cell phones, etc. would follow in the coming decade. Additionally, American Millennials were to become privy to a host of new protections and a widespread cultural concern for their well-being. Megan’s Law, Amber Alerts, required child-safety seats, toy and playground regulations, etc., aggregated to make them the most protected generation in history. This cultural and technological convergence created a developmental environment that both shaped and separated them from any foregoing generation. Their brains are the same but their minds are significantly different. Actually visible on functional MRI’s, they process information in ways that would have been unimaginable to their grandparents. As a result of having been trained and exercised by PC’s, video games, etc. they are capable of multi-tasking, lateral processing and emotional flexibility that baffles their parents and employers. Far from needing to be fixed, redirected or medicated; Social Network Analyst, Scott Degraffenreid, has established in the course of seven years of field studies in the corporate employment world that Millennials’ skills and abilities can be powerfully leveraged just as they are. Linda Hubbell has a Bachelors of Science from Bowling Green State University and Masters of Science from the University of Southern California. She is a member of the Woman Divers Hall of Fame [WDHOF] and Commissioned Naval Officer [34 yrs]. Linda is famous for being the first woman officer to graduate from the US Navy Second Class Diving School as a Navy SCUBA Diver [1976]. Other successes include being a SEAL Special Warfare Plans Officer [1978-1982] and her 32-year contribution in research and development for the Department of Defense. She has been interested in holistic/natural health practices since 1976 when she moved to Hawaii. As a Navy Diver, she had developed an instinctual sense for natural health solutions. She began to read, take some supplements, eat a natural diet , etc., in order to maintain her strength and energy levels for diving, which was quite strenuous. She liked how she felt as a result of good healthy living and just kept it up as a way of life . In more recent years she was exposed to electro-magnetic energy modalities while managing some research and development projects. During a vacation last year she was told by the famous psychic, Sylvia Browne, that she was going to work in holistic medicine and natural healing. Linda thought, "You could have knocked me over", but thought she may do that eventually.. Then, a friend insisted she begin reading about some of the energy healing modalities. She began with a book on quantum touch and realized she could do amazing things with her hands but thought this was a little far out. Next came an opportunity to hear Master Stephen Co speak about and demonstrate Pranic Energy Healing. She liked it even better and decided to take some classes. Linda says, "We merely open up your energy channels so your body can work to heal itself. After all, our bodies have been healing themselves for centuries." Kim Fisichella mission is to nurture health, wellness, youth and vitality in others by providing her biofeedback services and teaching others what they need to know to enhance their own health and quality of life by cultivating positive, self edifying habits. A student of alternative health technologies for more than 20 years, her greatest joy comes from helping others achieve health, wellness and vitality. Firm in her understanding that the body heals itself when given the right tools, she has dedicated herself to sharing that principle with others and proving its veracity. In addition to the SCIO and fundamental to Kim’s approach to health, is her focus on nutrition. Venturing beyond the traditional concerns of proteins and carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals, she has stretched her research to the fundamentals of herbalism using a traditional, therapeutic and fieldwork approach to herbalism as taught by Joanna Helms, here in Brevard County. This training is traceable to the nation’s foremost authority on herbalism, the American Herbal Guild, and has been a useful tool in her caring for clients, family and friends. In keeping with her whole person - physical, mental, emotional and spiritual - approach to health, Kim is pursuing a Master’s of Science in Natural Health degree with Clayton College of Natural Health in Birmingham Alabama, and has studied the fundamentals of Pranic (spiritual energy) healing as taught by Master Stephen Co. Kim has a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education with San Diego State University, with a minor in Nutrition. Tuesday, December 19th 9-10pm McBee calls himself the Mind Whisperer because he has been quieting people’s minds for over 25 years, starting with his own. McBee was attacked by a man with a razor blade and received over 40 major lacerations on his face and arms. The attack was so severe that he was told that he would probably not be able to ever work a full time job. Needless to say this was a life-altering event.
